 LA BELLA OF LAKE GENEVA

Have you ever wanted to visit Europe? To see the
historic architecture,
beautiful scenery and exotic fountains? To smell and see the history
in everything around you, surrounding you with all its glory
and enveloping you with its unbelievable beauty?
For some of us this is but a lifelong dream. However, for most of us
the answer lies in a small town in Wisconsin, called Lake Geneva.
The best piece of Europe that one can find in this charming small town is
Bella Vista Suites Hotel on the shore of Lake Geneva. As you pull up to
the hotel, you are immediately struck with an amazing view of the water
and the historic look of the architecture which makes you feel that
something magical is awaiting you inside.
As you take your first step into the lobby, all you can do is freeze
and stare at the classic beauty that surrounds you.
What jumps at you the most is the open round layout where you can see
all four floors from top to bottom and a stunning water fountain
in the middle with swimming fish inside. What a truly unique view!
As if this is not enough already, there are plenty more surprises
waiting for you inside your suite. The hotel offers one and
two bedroom suites, ranging from the Park View suite, the Woodland suite,
the Lakeside suite, the Lake View suite, the Villa suite, the St. Moritz suite,
and the Beach View suite. The two-bedroom suites include the Governor’s suite,
the Presidential suite and the Penthouse suite. I had the pleasure of staying
at the Governor’s suite on the top floor and let me tell you what an absolute
delight that was. The suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms,
a dining area with a table and four chairs, a kitchen area with a
refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all utensils
for your eating pleasure. There are three TVs, one in each room.
The living room has a pull-out sofa and a beautiful fireplace.
One of the most enjoyable features for me was the bubbling Jacuzzi
in the master suite. However, the very best-kept secret is the patio
adorned with a table and two chairs and the most breathtaking view
of the lake in all of Lake Geneva. That is when you absolutely
know how the hotel gets its name, Bella Vista (“beautiful view.”)
What impressed me most of all in this unique hotel is the attention to details.
There are fluffy robes in the closet for your convenience. Continental breakfast
is brought to your suite every morning and left in a basket by the door, which
consists of bagels, apples, muffins, oatmeal and orange juice. A basket with
goodies of snacks and cold bottled water awaits in the kitchen when you arrive.
The Judith Jackson aromatherapy amenities are neatly arranged in the bathroom in
a small basket. All these little touches is what makes this hotel and its staff
such an outstanding first class experience.

Branson, MO.

Imagine the sophisticated look of Manhattan. Picture the
crowded streets of downtown Chicago. See the top of the Grand Canyon in
all its natural glory. I have traveled to all these places and lots more
and none of them have been able to grab my heart and soul the way Branson,
Missouri has.
